Business Office Specialist Instructor: Lesie Lindsey

Education - Masters of Adult Education, Distant Learning and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Teacher for the Business Specialist Program for Chester High School. Previously worked for Wells Fargo Bank as a Senior Vice President of Trust Operations, Human Resource Director for the School District of Philadelphia and Employment Specialist for Chester Upland School District.  I am a product of a Career and Technical Education Program.  While attending Gratz High School's CTE Business Education program I had the opportunity to take part in the school to work program and was placed with Philadelphia National Bank (PNB), now Wells Fargo Bank.  During my thirty- six year experience with the bank I worked my way up the ladder, starting as a file clerk and then to my final position as a Senior Vice-President of Trust Operations. I obtained both my bachelor and master's degree while in the corporate America environment.

My goal was always to end my career in the classroom.  Teaching in a Career and Technical Education program allows me to demonstrate the opportunity that one can have after successfully completing the Business Office Specialist program at Chester High School.

Career and Technical Student Organization

Students will also gain more experience in their skills through the Career and Technical Student Organization, "Future Business Leaders of America".  This student run organization provides students a forum to engage their skills taught in the classroom to real world competitive events.  Students through this organization can receive recognition for community service their chapter organizes, have opportunities for scholarships, compete in various competitive events and gain leadership experiences.
