Please spend at least 30 minutes of math each day.

Log into Pearson Realize from Mr. Pines’ Google Classroom,  from  the CUSD Site, or use this link:

Select Math; Interactive Student Edition 8th grade

Log into your Google Math Classroom

Click on current assignments

Complete the assignments for Lesson 2-9

Task #1 Complete “Today’s Challenge”

Task #2 Watch videos for example 1, 2 and 3

Task #3 Review Key Concept

Task #4 Complete “Do You Understand? Do you Know?” Create a Google Doc for your answers and share with Mr. Pines

Task #5 Complete “Math XL For School” Be sure to SUBMIT once you’ve finished or it will not save your work.

Task #6 Take the lesson 2-9

quiz  Be sure to SUBMIT once you’ve finished or it will not save your work.

Task #7 Choose 2 assignments from the choice board

Task #8 COMPLETE your End of Year Project By June 4

(Legislative, Executive, Judicial)

Task 1 ~ Create a powerpoint slide show with at least 1 slide for each branch of government. The slides should explain the responsibilities for each branch.

Task 2 ~ How are the 3 branches of government like the branches of a tree. Create a tree like diagram that explains the  responsibility of each branch of each branch (Legislative, Executive, Judicial)  of government.

Watch the assigned videos in our Google Classroom under the Classwork section. Make a list of three ways science impacts the fields mentioned in the videos. For each example you mentioned, use two or three sentences to explain the impact.

Scientific breakthroughs and innovations in technology improve many aspects of our world.

Task 4 ~ Current Events~ Choose a current events article on any topic from an online source. Answer the 5 W’s:

Who is involved?

What is the situation?

When did it take place?

Where did this happen?

Why did this happen?

How does this impact the U.S. or the world?
