Toby Farms is a 6th through 8th-grade school located in Brookhaven, Pennsylvania. The general curriculum is supported by the following programs: Success for All Reading, Everyday Mathematics, and Pearson Science and Social Studies. In addition, students receive supplemental academic support from Study Island, an intervention for English, math and science; individual and small-group instruction from reading specialists and classroom support teachers; and after-school opportunities for tutoring and enrichment made possible through a 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant. Other extracurricular opportunities include football, basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, soccer, baseball, softball, track, and after-school club activities such as the Science Club.

The staff of Toby Farms Intermediate School will work to ensure that all students achieve at high academic levels by using standards based, innovative approaches to teaching. We will deliver the curriculum with enthusiasm and meet the needs of all students by providing interventions based on individual student data obtained from formative and summative assessments.

School Hours
The school day is from 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Students will line up in the yard by room number or as assigned and be escorted to their classrooms by their teachers. Students should NOT arrive before 8:30 a.m. unless they are having breakfast. Breakfast is served 8:15 am until 8:40 am. Students should not remain on the school grounds later than 4:00 p.m. unless they are participating in a supervised school activity.
SCHOOL DOORS WILL NOT OPEN UNTIL 8:45 a.m. EACH SCHOOL DAY unless we are operating on a half-day bell schedule or due to inclement weather. Supervision WILL NOT be provided for students who arrive before 8:30 a.m. or remain later than 4:00 p.m. These procedures are designed for the safety and well-being of the student.
