Hello Everyone,
I am excited to work with such a great group of individuals. I look forward to working with all students and building a healthy academic relationship with each of them. I graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, and I hold my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Wilmington University. I have spent the past nine years working in Special Education. I spent three years teaching Emotional Support to a variety of students at the Middle School and High School level. Prior to this, I worked in Life Skills providing instructional support and daily life lessons. I taught Social Skills and worked with students on a variety of learning levels. I adapt my material to each student, and I try my best to make a personal connection with each of them. One of the many goals for all of my students is for them to become successful members of society.
Growing up I was fortunate to have a younger brother with special needs who has helped me to become the person I am today. I know what it is like, especially from a family perspective, to be an advocate for your child. I always keep that in mind when I am teaching your children! I try to work with all my parents, and I believe that open communication is the key to success.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I am here to help!
Students can access our Google classrooms from their phones, tablets, laptops, or desktops. From there, they can complete assignments, and be a part of the class while away from school.
My office hours are 9:15-11:15 a.m. and 1:30-3:30 p.m.
