Welcome!

I'm excited to be teaching math at Toby for the 7th grade. I've been working in Education for over 35 years. I have tutored for many years before becoming a full-time teacher about 8 years ago.

This is my third year at Toby. Before coming into teaching, I spent over 25 years working in the chemical industry from Research and Development to Supply Chain Management. During my time at DuPont, I worked closely with the Offices of Education and Diversity. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and Masters in Business Administration. I studied in Marburg, Germany through a year-long student exchange program.

I grew up in Lancaster County and have deep Pennsylvania German roots on both sides of my family. I currently live in Southern Chester County on a small farm.

I enjoy learning about new cultures and sampling their cuisine, travel, and visiting museums, concerts. I also love to take out-of-town friends on tours of the great city of Philadelphia.

My Zoom office hours are by appointment. 

In case of a teacher absence, students can find classwork in their Google Classroom.
