Hello and Welcome Stem Academy Parents/Guardians/Students!

I am looking forward to working with you and your child in this online learning environment. During these extraordinary times, students and teachers must learn and teach differently. Your child will be utilizing zoom and google classroom to engage in their learning. Students will access their assignments via the google class page for their specific class period. Students are required to Zoom in at their specified class times Monday - Friday.

I teach Algebra 1, which is a branch of mathematics that substitutes letters for numbers. Algebra 1 is about finding the unknown or putting real-life variables into equations and then solving them. In this class, students will cover among other things: expressions, exponents, equations, inequalities, systems of equations, functions, real numbers, polynomials, radical and rational expressions.
