Hello!

My name is Ms. Rachael Schwind (pronounced shh-wind). I am the Learning Support teacher at Main Street Elementary for grades K-5.  

About Me: I was born in Bucks County and then moved to Philadelphia. GO E-A-G-L-E-S! I currently live in the Chester area. I graduated from La Salle University with my dual bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I have a passion for working with children and have wanted to be a teacher since I was a child. In my spare time, I enjoy watching documentaries, reading, baking, and hiking. I love to incorporate therapeutic techniques, like mindfulness and regulating emotions, into the classroom!

I am here to support you and to help keep each student’s learning moving forward. I know our time together will be successful! I truly believe in the power of education. Let's have an awesome year- no matter what that may look like! We are in this together.
