Welcome to my temporary virtual classroom during these challenging days of COVID-19! I have missed you, and not a day goes by that I would rather be in the classroom with you, than home and away from you.

I am looking forward to connecting with both my students and your parents/guardians in the new, virtual world of on-line education.  While it is not ideal, and is new for all, I ask that we be patient as we learn together how to communicate through this on-line model, and look forward to helping you explore your creativity as we connect in this new way.  As you can see, I now have a virtual office through ZOOM, and welcome hearing from you and about how you are doing since we were last together.

While we are asked to practice "social distancing", I ask that you follow the guidelines from the CDC, try to eat healthy foods and get plenty of rest to stay strong and reduce the chances of getting the virus or transmitting it to your loved ones. Rules and routines may have changed, but you have proven day by day that you are stronger than you think and resilient to life's unexpected challenges. I believe we can make the most of this temporary mode of education if we practice communicating with mutual respect, are patient and flexible with ourselves and each other, and ask for help along the way.
