Nikkita George's Classroom

  • Greetings,

Hoping all are staying safe and adhering to the stay-at-home order.

Chester is my home, where I was raised and groomed. I attended Chester Upland School District from K-12th grade. I graduated with the best class to ever attend Chester High the Class of 1990. After graduating from Chester High, I attended Lincoln University where I received a dual degree in Human Services and Criminal Justice. After working with the Department of Human Services for several years, my interest changed to education. When I decided to switch my career to education, I returned to school to get my degrees. I received my Masters in Special Education from Cheyney University and my Principal Certification from Wilmington University.

It was always a passion of mine to return to my city and give back and in 1999, I begin to work with my favorite school district Chester Upland. I had several positions including Duane B. Coordinator, ES teacher, LS teacher, Itinerant teacher, ESY Coordinator, Senior Activity Advisor and currently I am the Out of District Coordinator for the district. My motto has always been "if not me then who" meaning if I don't give back, work with our children, motivate them to be great then who will.

If you need to reach me, please do not hesitate to email me and I will make every effort to respond in a timely manner. Hope you all are staying safe and adhering to the stay-at-home order.

C-PRIDE WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!
